I left my heart in his lunch box

One of the requirements for kids below Year 6 is to bring along snack and meals from home for morning break and lunch.

At first i rasa sgt leceh. Dulu when i sent the kids to their school & nursery in Msia, the school & nursery would provide the meals for them, from breakfast until tea time. Of course, the school fee is already inclusive of this service. Tapi oklah kan...tak la pening mama nak pikir nak bawak ape n kelam kabut nk prepare early morning.

Anyway, becos the rules of the schools here state that the kids need to bring their own meal from home, nak tak nak kena la jgk buat kan. The good thing is, i dont have to rush for work so xla kelam kabut sgt pagi2.

I dont think i wudve been able to pull it if i was working (in KL summore!).

What have i prepared for Hafiz?
Let these myriads of photos give some picture of what he has been eating for his school break n lunch :)

Oh, i am sooooo verrryyyy inspired by Bento lunch boxes!!!! Been feisting my eyes with the luvly lunch boxes deco every single day! Creative okkay mak2 nih! Go google 'Bento lunch boxes', 'Fun Lunch Boxes' , etc and i guarantee, you cant wait to prepare your kids' lunch boxes as well!!!

It is that addictive! Waking up early morning and preparing meals for my little kid is fun!

And hubby asked, 'takpe ke ayang bgn pagi2, masak2 utk bekal Hafiz ni?'

To which i replied, 'takpelah.. Ayang suke jer... :)) seronok Hafiz dpt mkn homemade food'.. :)

Daddys, if you havent know this yet, a mother would do anything for her kids. Anything. That's how much she loves her kids. :))

Whenever Hafiz waves goodbye with a sweet smile on his smile and after hugging me 'kuat-kuat' (tightly- hafiz says, nak peluk mama kuat-kuat), i feel my heart tightens. Not literally. Hahaha. But there's a sudden realization that mmg betul, anak2 ni Allah pinjamkan je kat kita, and time flies so fast, and someday they'll be leaving the nest that we have built for them.

Anyway, to cope with this emotion, i left my heart in his lunch box :) poetic la plak kan :p

Oh yea, Alya, my sassy little princess, will start her preschool next week. I'm gonna miss her like crazy!!!

Sunyinyer nanti!! Oh wait, i still have my little munchkin, miss aina ;))

Kids, bila ada huru hara, bila xde, sunyi plak... Hohoho
